“Unauthorized Discussion was inspired by a few different things. The first and most prominent was the dope beats on Sam’s Natty Hill project. From front to back, the tracks on Natty Hill were masterpieces and were joints that got my creative juices flowing.
Secondly, the buzz and momentum from Intelligent Discussion to Extended Discussion has grown and people have been asking me when Sam and I would be dropping the next project. We decided to take extra time with the Final Discussion project since it will be the last one in this series (as far as we know), so it’s taking a little longer than the others. I wanted to give folks something to rock with while they wait on Final Discussion, plus I think it will turn more people on to what we did with Intelligent Discussion and Extended Discussion.
Lastly, I drop freestyles over other emcees’ beats all the times, and so it was like an adrenaline rush to “jack” some of Sam’s beats! At the end of the day, both Sam and I love the craft of music, so we were just as excited as fans to hear how this one would come out.”- PyInfamous
