We’ve got another gem from JayLee’s ‘Upstate Of Mind’ mixtape [hosted by DJ Sight]. This 18 year old has impressed us with this record right off the bat. Having grown up in a hip-hop music family (his brother’s being A Kidd Called Quest and DJ Sight, both Rochester, NY natives), he definitely has the foundation for a very bright future. He graced the Dub land stage as an opener on A Penny Pinch Tour featuring Moses Rockwell, The Day Laborers and R.E.A.L. recently…it was his first stage appearance as a matter of fact.
