James Niche

Founder/Director of this ACT:LIVE beast.  Born and raised in Rochester, NY. James has worked for years on the road as a tour coordinator for independent bands, promoted for several radio stations including 106.7 The Max and 94.1 The Zone in Rochester, NY, worked as an intern under Tony Gross, Jr. at G.F.I. Studios in Rochester, NY and acted as the music manager at The Dub Land Underground from 2008-2010.

James has made it his life’s mission to expose independent artists, as well as other national artists, using his music industry savvy and experience.

James can also be seen on the wheels of steel around town, too. He worked as a hip-hop DJ for years, hitting house party after house party around Rochester, as well as regular nights at Club Red, Vibes and many other clubs and bars in Rochester.
