Merry Christmas y’all.

It’s been a minute, I believe we were supposed to drop this last summer but hey, better late than never. Last summer we put out a few acapellas from our Werd Play series for producers to chew up, spit out and get back to us with their interpretation, in case you forgot. We were excited to see we had some friends over seas like Til Riot (Germany), who sent us back one of our favorite remixes featuring Rochester, NY native I.D..

This compilation project was also how we discovered Jah La Eer (New Jersey), who went on to produce the ‘King Of Kings’ track after being selected as our favorite. Everyone contributing did a solid job, but how Jah La Eer catered to the lyrics of Hassaan Mackey and Homeboy Sandman’s verses, well, that’s what hooked us in…on top of the fact that he has some dope beats.

SLI-Pro comes to us from Georgia and contributed 2 solid tracks that we chose for this project as well. We were generally pleased with everyone’s work and interpretations. Keep in mind all of these tracks are unmastered, except for the previously released tracks listed.

Til Riot gets the award for most creativity displayed, next to Jah La Eer. I was personally impressed with the I.D. remix. Cheers homie.
