From the inception, the simple funky guitar licks belies the depth and hip-hop ambiance of this beat. Further beguiling of course, is the title “PopTune”. As ironic as Jinesis juxapostion is I guess it could be said that this is actually an ANTI-pop tune in it’s quiet effervescence. The video gives all those audio elements a decidedly spaced out feel.
